Study Hall Rules

  • Students need to sign into study hall each week.
  • Students under age six are expected to be in the playroom.  Students, ages six and seven, must have an adult, who is directly responsible for them, in the room at all times.  If the playroom is closed, the age limit is lifted and adult supervision is required for ages seven and under.
  • While this room does not provide a quiet atmosphere for studying, there are designated tables labeled “Study Tables” intended for students who desire to work.  The other portion of the room is provided for visiting, games, or group activities.
  • Quiet studying is available at the “Quiet Study Tables” directly outside the study hall room or may be done in your car with parental supervision.  Students at the quiet study tables must be signed into the study hall.
  • There should be at least two adults in the study hall each class hour.
  • Eating and drinking are allowed in this room.  Please clean up after yourself.
  • Respect others’ use of this study hall.  No excessively loud voices, noisy electronic games, use of foosball table, or boisterous play allowed.  Honor others in your speech and behavior to help create a positive environment for all.
  • Adults -- If a student is not following these rules, please remind him/her of the rules once, and then find the parent.  (Everyone’s schedules are in the mailbox folders.)  If the problem persists, the parent will need to supervise the student.  If there is a problem you are uncomfortable handling, contact a board member.
