Cost:  $280 tuition per year, paid in four $70 payments;
$25 copy/supply fee per year, paid in one $25 payment
Text:  America, The Last Best Hope, by William Bennett
Description: This course provides a cursory view of United States history from colonization through the Second World War.  The goal is for the student to gain a basic understanding of events that shaped this nation in the context in which these events occurred.  There will be regular reading, note taking, outlines, presentations, in class conversations, group projects, and role playing.  Students should plan for about 3 hours of homework per week.
